WE ARE THE SNOWCAPS
We support each other.
We never stop skating.
We give nothing away for free.
We battle for every puck.
We protect our teammates.
We embrace physicality.
We respond to adversity.
We compete for the entire game.
We set the tone from the first shift.
We stand together when things get difficult.
WE DON’T MELT UNDER PRESSURE. WE RISE ABOVE IT.
BUILT IN THE COLD. UNBREAKABLE TOGETHER.
1. SUPPORT EACH OTHER
We are one team.
Get open for a pass.
Help each other on the boards.
Clear the net and protect our goalie.
Cover for your defenceman.
Communicate, encourage and compete for each other.
Nobody gets left alone. We play for the person beside us.
2. NEVER STOP SKATING
We never quit on a play.
Never give up on the puck.
Get beat? Turn, accelerate and get back into the play.
Finish every shift with maximum effort.
Compete for every loose puck.
Keep moving until the whistle.
Mistakes happen. Quitting is a choice. Snowcaps never quit.
3. NO FREE PLAYS
We make opponents earn everything.
No free passes.
Take away the angle.
Take away the space.
Close gaps and eliminate time.
No free shots.
Make every puck battle difficult.
We dictate the space, pressure the puck and make life difficult for our opponents.
